Welcome to Gairbraid Medical Practice

Gairbraid Medical Practice is a long established family friendly medical practice committed to giving its patients the highest quality service.

We work very closely with our allied community nursing, and health visiting teams. The Practice offers the services of, interpreters, stop smoking advisor, and other local services to help our patients with their health and wellbeing.

We have a highly trained Practice Nurse who is able to offer a range of services including family planning and care of patients with chronic conditions both in the practice and at home if needed. Our GPs are able to offer continuity of care and have special interests.

Dr Leeper is lead GP Trainer and also runs specialist coil clinics. Dr James runs our post natal and baby clinics, Dr Shotton is able to offer joint injections in our surgery setting. She can also insert coils and Implanon. We are a GP Training Practice and have specialist GP Registrars working with us to complete their training. We have late appointments on a Monday evening and early morning appointments throughout the week.  We are able to offer our full range of services outwith normal working hours.

Our aim is to provide an effective, efficient and fair health care service to all our patients by:

  • Putting our patients at the centre of what we do
  • Having a professional integrated primary healthcare team who are suitably qualified and trained
  • Offering our services in a safe, supportive and suitably equipped environment.

This website has been developed to help our patients manage their health and well being with access to local services in your area, as well as information about the Practice. We welcome any comments or suggestions you may have.
